Research Dissemination Spotlight with JCOIN Strategies (Virtual)
Thu, 6/8/2023 - 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Past event. This event already took place. Visit the HEAL Connections Sharing Sessions page for upcoming events.
Overview
The first Sharing Session featured tips and tricks from the HEAL Justice Community Opioid Innovation Network (JCOIN) on how to engage community stakeholders, including health practitioners, policymakers, and individuals with lived experience, to broaden the reach and impact of HEAL research. View the session slides pdf 7.18 MB.
Key Takeaways
- JCOIN’s approach to engaging stakeholders across the HEAL research spectrum is highly collaborative, bi-directional, and tailored to each audience. Real-world case studies shared in this presentation demonstrated how JCOIN has effectively brought their engagement strategy to life.
- Knowledge translation and dissemination resources developed by JCOIN and other research teams are available now to optimize the sharing of HEAL science and help close the research-to-practice gaps. See below for more information.
- You can partner with HEAL Connections to support community engagement and dissemination of HEAL research.
