Executive Director, AdvaMed Accel, AdvaMed
Ashley Wittorf is the Executive Director of AdvaMed Accel, the division within AdvaMed dedicated to addressing the unique needs and challenges of smaller medtech manufacturers. In this role, she focuses on facilitating a policy environment conducive to innovation and capital formation, advocating for payment and regulatory policies that are favorable to emerging companies, and directing research and educational initiatives for industry leaders in this entrepreneurial sector. She also serves as the association’s Global Head of Investor Relations, providing oversight to the association’s interactions with the investment community and analysis of the medtech industry’s investment and financing trends.
Wittorf joined AdvaMed in 2012 after nearly a decade in business development and engineering roles in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, focusing on product development, commercialization strategy, and operations, with both small, venture-backed enterprises and large corporations. Wittorf holds a master’s degree in bioengineering and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for MedTech Innovator, the medtech industry’s nonprofit global competition and accelerator for medical device, digital health and diagnostic companies.
